The character art has been done with Letraset Promarkers and Tria markers, the background has been done with textures and brushes using photoshop.
I plan to enter this for the group, cause they are having a fantasy themed contest. I figured this character because i knew i was going to finish it soon, there for knew i would have time to enter. And the contest is not allowed to have humans in, and since she is a Deva (Dungeons and Dragons race that are angles in a humanoid body) i thought it would be a nice fit.
Well here she is with a background, i went for much lighter colours for this to make the whole thing seem that little less intense. Plus i wanted it too look nature/spirit ish because she is a shaman and likes to be at one with nature and the spirit world.
Not had a chance to play with the character, due to being snowed in. And i am trying to stop making new characters because i am sick of not being able to play many when the get past 5th. I have been lucky and when i have had a chance to get out (Not done so in the past week though ) I have been able to play the 4-7 level adventures.
Thanks, i thought it would be more colourful then a lot of people though, i did plan for it to be lighter but oart way though, i thought what the hell and went crazy with it. I still stuck to my normal rules when colouring though.
Well i always pick colours that can be made from one of the primary colours i have used 2 at most. So in this cause it may not seem that purple and orange would go, but they are both made from red. So when i am colour i try and keep the the colours that can be made from the colours i have used.
