My regular D&D game has been put on hold because the DMs shift changed, in the meantime I am going to be playing Iron Kingdoms for a little bit. I am playing one third of Iosan triplets! Iosan's are like the high elves in the setting, they also have Nyss which are the snow Elves. My character Meryll is going to be the oldest, because a friend of mine wanted to be the youngest and we thought our bother being born in the middle of the two of us would be funnier.
Character wise Meryll is a knight and Explorer because in IK you choose two classes to play. I did have a full outfit imagined for this character but the first drawing I actually screwed up in a way I can't save it. Since it is only a temporary game I didn't want to spend too long trying to do this since I want the art for the game. So I just did a portrait. She has fitted plate on her torso, lower arms, tassets and over the top of a fancy white shirt & leather trousers. She also wears a very flamboyant purple coat and has the shoulder pads from her armour over top. She also uses a great sword.
The theme of the game is going to be a pirate style sailing in uncharted territory, and the Iosan part of the party are Seekers and are looking for the Iosan Gods, because in the setting they have disappeared and the Iosan race are in a lot of trouble. Some of them are being born without souls and things like that. Although culture wise Isoan's will not talk about Ios or what is going on with the Iosan's to outsiders either.
Her character isn't developed that much, because I have not played her yet. I am sure it will happen though, I have lose idea's though.
I will do a background for this soon, I am just having a little problems with my version of PS since it is different to what I am used to. I will keep playing though because it is the only way I am going to get used to it. The picture was done traditionally with pro and tria markers.
it is a great design!!!
Thank you so much!
Looks cool, plus reminds me of a blood elf taking engineering in WoW
Well in Iron Kingdoms they do have coal and steam power. Also in the bought equipment they list goggles and my character started with like double the gold of some of the party members, so I bought a bunch of useless equipment like goggles and a pocket watch because I could.
I am happy you think it looks cool though.
