I went to a Lego museum exhibit on Saturday and it was really cool and i got some cool photo's too! Yes i think it is totally awesome there was a Lego museum exhibit too, it is the same place they had the Dr Who Exhibit too. But thats gone now.

Any way this one gave me a lot of nostalgia because i had some of this set in the 1980's and my cousins had even more and we used to build moon bases each and pretend to declare war on each other it was a lot of fun ^^ apart from my cousins are twins so there was 2 of them and one of me! They are good memories though because most of the time i had a lot of fun!

Awesome photo. I always preferred the random bits, rather than the kits, though I do have parts of a submarine kit hanging around, including the legs from a Lego person.

It was only on the Saturday sadly, but it was at the Manchester science and industry museum

I agree i find the random parts more interesting because you could make whatever you wanted. I loved making stuff up on my own and using my imagination. Kits where good for interesting bits you wouldn't get in a box of bricks though but i used to take them apart and build other things.

Definitely. I know I've used an online version of them at some point, as a model maker to tell you how many of what you need to make something.
