I think there's a lot to be said about this piece. And a lot of what you can say is how it's changed in such a short time.

In an original line art, this piece showed the same woman with the tattoo, but no scars on her back. This one however does show scars. The addition might be trivial, but in this case the addition of the scars changes the mood of the picture.

Again, in the additional line art, there's no color, so one can only guess (without proper back knowledge) as to why she's dressed the way she is). In this case the change to a yellow "semi-pettycoat" outfit gives the look of a woman infiltrating high society, while the former might simply depict a different feeling all together.

The reason I make these comments is to prove the point that color is a pivotal point of art.

The shading on the dress is fantastic, the position of the body is fantastic, it's sexy alluring and very pretty. But it's the colors that make the piece work or don't work. For example I absolutely love the dark skin with white hair look that you've made part of your own. Although the random streak of black hair points out that there seems to be a part of color missing, or at least that's the appearance. I love the yellow dress, if only that it's a little pale. And the stalkings should be more see through unless the stalkings are thick pieces of cloth.

That's all going to sound a lot more harsh then it really is. I really think the piece is lovely. You're doing really well with the new "after image" style back drop. I would say you're hitting that right on the money. Some might say you should make the afterimage MUCH bigger then the original. But this looks great in my humble opinion.
